2nd May 2008 Windsurfing: Portland Harbour Wind Direction: SE Wind Stength: 4 Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Max Speed: Distance Covered: Managed to fit an hour in from 11 'til 12 before the wind dropped a bit. It was only just enough wind and that was close to the sailing academy; the further you went out the less wind there was, I think it was getting accelerated around the corner of Portland. It was useful to do lots of short figure 8 runs to practice gybes. Unfortunately the wind picked up later in the afternoon but I was tied up doing something else by then! |
